This one-day workshop is aimed at executives looking to grow the evidence-base for strategic decision-making.
In order to make informed decisions at the most senior level within an organisation, it is important there is an appropriate evidence-base to draw upon. This will help your organisation to minimise the risk of wasting scarce resources on initiatives that the evidence suggests would be unlikely to succeed. Similarly, the evidence will support your organisation to invest in those areas that are most likely to be successful.
This workshop will provide an introduction to research and how it can be used to build a commercially-valuable evidence-base. It will demonstrate how to access published academic research, how to assess the quality of the research and how this might inform any risk/reward analysis. The workshop will explore a range of research methodologies and methods that organisations can use to undertake their own research. By the end of the workshop, executives will be equipped to further develop the evidence-base to inform strategic decision-making within their own organisations.
