Education is key to preventing young people from being attracted to violent extremist ideologies, organisations and movements. On an international level, schools and education authorities have adopted a wide range of initiatives, some directly targeted at preventing and countering radicalization and extremism, others more indirect focusing on areas such as anti-racism, citizenship and tolerance. We have gathered evidence on “What works” in these initiatives in terms of intervention. This webinar will share inspiring ideas and empower educators with resources to identify, understand and prevent radicalization in their context.
The webinar is mainly targeted at Teachers, Trainers, Educational counsellors, School Psychologists, Headmasters, School management and administrative staff working in primary, secondary and vocational schools, as well as training centres, adult education schools, higher education and NGOs.
Very good session, well delivered, informative, relevant and interactive. The programme was delivered clearly and in a professional manner.
