What are the key skills which students need in the modern world? What will best serve them moving forward in a fast-changing academic and business future? This workshop explores a range of skills including teamwork, goal setting, creative solutions, research and presentation, leadership and communication skills with practical and theoretical components as well as a focus on transferable skills.
This workshop explores the theory of each skill and gives students the chance to participate in some practical demonstrations of each in a training session including the key elements of developing and preparing detailed plans, monitoring progress as well as reviewing success and failure. The link to the world of work and study is explored in a final session with students.
