Seventh Wave launch joint masterclass with KnowNow Ltd and Rightway Compliance

Seventh Wave are delighted to launch a brand new two-day course on Compliance And Player Protection run in partnership with KnowNow Ltd and Rightway Compliance. Aimed at senior manages within the gambling sector, this masterclass is designed to give senior business leaders all of the knowledge, understanding and information they need to create and maintain a business wide player protection culture.

Now is the time for operators to act and it is important that we don’t view compliance and player protection as a regulatory tick box exercise. Culture change must be lead from the top of our organisations and rolled out through all employees across all areas of our businesses. This two day course will give you the tools, knowledge and understanding required to do just that.

What you will learn:

The course will provide an overview designed to ensure delegates have;

  • the knowledge required to lead the business incorporating a best in class compliance and  player protection culture
  • a high level understanding of the current player protection landscape and what the regulator expects of your business in terms of dealing with vulnerable customers
  • a clear understanding of the complexities of problem gambling from both a psychological and lived experience perspective
  • knowledge of how to incorporate the compliance / player protection culture and align rewards, KPI’s and targets across all areas of your business including, Marketing, Customer Services, HR and Game Development
  • an overview and understanding of risk assessment, the risk based approach and what is expected of you by the regulator
  • an understanding of KYC and its applications in terms of AML and player protection
  • everything you need to know about internal controls
  • a comprehensive reporting strategy, what the regulators expect, key questions for the board to be asking the business, using data to inform risk strategy and enforcement review
Who should attend?
  • C-level management from gambling operators
  • Anyone who holds a personal management licence
  • Anyone who manages teams and departments across gambling businesses
  • Anyone responsible for strategic business leadership at gambling operators
What can you expect on the day?

This course is a collaboration between three organisations whose experts work very closely with all stakeholders across the gambling industry to provide high quality information. We will focus on informing participants about safer gambling measures from two main perspectives – legal and ethical.

The two days will consist of informative and interactive sessions designed to give you a high level understanding, provoke thought around the areas of AML and RG and utilise the tools available to promote compliance and best practice across all areas of the business.

All delegates will be required to roll up their sleeves and get involved in team exercises, roll plays and open conversation. Our experience shows that this is the best way to ensure delegates leave with a thorough understanding of the topic and a desire to maximise their efforts in this critical, fast moving area of business.
