The Seventh Wave global network and expert team expands

Following the fresh rebrand of Seventh Wave Corporate Training at the beginning of July 2019, Managing Directors and Co-Founders, Adrian and David are excited to announce the expansion of the Seventh Wave global network. Bringing on board a vast number of UK and European Partners with a diverse array of expertise, Seventh Wave is now proud to offer numerous new training offers covering everything from Diversity & Inclusion toLeadership & Teamwork to Legal & Compliance matters.

On the announcement of the expansion, Managing Director Adrian said, "Ethical corporate training is at the heart of what we deliver at Seventh Wave and we have a strong commitment doing the right thing as part of our business offer. It is on that basis that we have some of the most respected and experienced corporate trainers working with us, delivering on that agenda, across different knowledge and skill sets.  We are delighted to welcome such global talent to our organisation, so that we can offer clients the most professional service on the market. 2020 is going to be a tidal wave of excellence in our corporate training!"

One of the newest partners to join the Seventh Wave network is UK Partner Andy Smith.

"I have had a successful track record of engaging, developing and motivating volunteers and staff teams in charities and the education sector. My 20 years’ experience in Students’ Unions and experience in SMEs and Charities has covered commercial, trading, strategic leadership, governance, membership engagement and developing young talent. After working closely with Adrian Sladdin, Managing Director of Seventh Wave, it immediately became clear that there was a great deal we could offer each other. This meeting of minds further rekindled my passion for training and coaching, a skill I have used successfully throughout my career. This passion was confirmed at our meetings where a custom training offer for Seventh Wave was built. It became obvious that Seventh Wave was a group of professionals bringing a great depth of experience from many sectors in one space, all with the ambition to help organisations grow and succeed. As CEO of a students’ union (a registered charity and company) I designed and delivered training to support the governance and the leadership team.

Here; one of my key successes was to introduce a peer led induction for new undergraduate students, running residential training for nearly 250 peer leaders. At the start of my career I designed and delivered courses in personal skills development (including training the trainer). As I gained experience I developed sessions on effective governance and student leadership. Making a move into small business I designed training packs for SME and entrepreneurial start-ups; a structured review and a plan for growth. Working with commercial and trading teams I wrote and delivered specialist training for staff involved in those operations. As charity consultant I effectively designed and implemented a peer education project on gambling and gaming related harms for higher education. Whilst I have this breadth of experience, in multiple roles, the amazing thing about Seventh Wave is how we really benefit from different perspectives and different experiences, which helps deliver the right person for the right training to get the right result. I consider myself honoured to be part of this team and am looking forward to see how we can work together to make a real difference to our clients."
